Summer 2019

We did a lot this summer...maybe too much, but living in a place where there is so much winter makes cramming in as much as possible during the summer months seem reasonable.  Here are a few picture highlights from our summer adventures both at home and on vacation.

This picture of my dad and Juni sums up how they feel about each other.

My Mom's side of the family shares a cabin, and I used to go there a lot when I was a kid, and my mom has been going there since she was born. This year I took the girls up for a couple nights with my mom and dad.

The girls didn't sleep very much, but they got some good sissy bonding time in!

Farm time:

On our way to a cabin near Walker, MN Gwen got to go in a Labyrinth. This was timely since the Jim Hanson movie "Labyrinth" with David Bowie is her favorite film right now.

I

Itasca fun!

Gwenny had her 5th birthday. We celebrated Toy Story style. Check out that Buzz Lightyear dress, and the cute girl in it!

Yes, that is "The Claw!!!" and yes, I am awesome.

We took a trip to Duluth to celebrate Gwen's birthday. She was able to climb things at State Parks, and go on her first big waterslide.

Gwen's summer included swimming lessons, soccer, and some playdates with friends. Juni has been learning to pretend and play like a big kid, so the girls are having a lot of fun playing together. Gwen starts a new preschool in a few days and starts back up in ballet and is going to the next level in swim. Juni is talking a lot now, and knows her letters and is starting to learn phonics. Gwen is doing math work with her dad and will soon be better at numbers than her mother.

I hope you all had fantastic summers. Thanks so much for being a part of our lives!
